The Davis Family

Hello Friends! 

I want to update my blog with a few shots from last weekend with the Davis family at Minnehaha Falls. Despite the forecast for rain it ended up being an absolutely gorgeous day! It was around 75 degrees and sunny, and this family could not have been more fun to shoot. They were all so laid back, up for trying anything and letting me get creative. The family wanted photos of their three year old son, a few family shots, and of course a few belly shots, (Kristin is due with Baby Boy #2 in a few short weeks!) Such a fun day!

I have been wanting to invest in a wide angle lens for some time now, but could not justify the cost. I found a great place in NE Minne that rents lenses, so I used one for the weekend and fell in love! After these shots I may have to take the plunge and purchase one...

 Little Kash would not stop sticking out his tongue when we were asking him to smile. I think we got 10 pictures in a row of him with his tongue out, but that's the funny part....looking back on these shots, they will always make you smile :)

 I love seeing dads with their little guys!

 And of course, you have to love little boys!

 This pose was probably my favorite from the shoot. It was such a nice day and these photos just show how peaceful it was. Pure relaxation, if that's possible in your 9th month of pregnancy!! : )
